Just Between Us Bloggers

As the youngest of three brothers, I know what it's like to be "It" in a game of tag. Through the process of growing up, during my early years, especially, my older brothers naturally held physical advantages over me that enabled them to outrun me and, if we were playing ball tag, dodge my speediest and most accurate throws. A late bloomer myself, I either had to tag the smallish neighbor kid whom I knew wouldn't be able tag me back (most likely), I had to outsmart my brothers (less likely, except in ball tag, which for this reason I liked more), or both.
I bring this up because Christmas is nearly upon us, and my fellow bloggers are getting positively goofy. I've been "tagged," which means I'm officially "it." I saw it developing on one of Ann's posts at MPDaily Fix, and I knew it was only a matter of time before it came to me.
As best I can tell, the path looked like this:
Andrea tagged
Gavin, who tagged
David, who tagged
Paul, who tagged
Me
I should mention that Paul was also tagged by Tim, who was tagged by Ann, and Katie, who was tagged by Gavin. Paul, whom did you make angry? And what did I ever do to you? ;)
I traced the link as far back as I could, but I was only got as far back as "Nic the Writer," (not to be confused with anyone named "Nic the Hyperlinker") who referred to someone named "Prousty" on November 1.
So in keeping with the spirit of, in Ann's words, "blogger buddiness," and because I'm a little goofy, too, here are five things you might not have known about me.
- I'm related to Scottish patriot William Wallace.
- I know the entire Green Lantern oath by heart.
- I stood on top of the Berlin Wall on November 10, 1989, the day after the East lifted travel restrictions to the West.
- It took me eight years, three majors, and four schools to get through college.
- Until I was 11 or 12, I believed everyone else was crazy or stupid for thinking "Arkansas" was pronounced in any way other than how it is spelled.
I don't see anything in the rulebook that says how many people I have to tag, but I'll go ahead and list Paul Herring, John Keehler, and CK, Chris Long, and Lewis Green. Whenever you can get to it, y'all. I now wash my hands of it. :)

Standing on the Berlin Wall really is amazing. That must have been incredible.
I also tagged Todd over at the Bullshit Observer. He also did some digging on how this whole thing originated. Pretty cool.

Cam,
Should I say thank you? Funny, how as a kid I loved tag. The challenge is coming up with anyone I know who hasn't already been tagged so I can yell "you're it!"
Oh, and yeah, Merry Christmas to you dear friend.
