Conversation, the Sequel

Just over two weeks into the new year and Drew and Gavin are up to they're old tricks. Part 2 of The Age of Conversation is in preproduction, and Variety, the children's charity, could stand a little help from their friends.

That means us.

The rules are pretty simple once you get down to it. As stated by our favorite collaborative pair:

• You will sign over all rights to your chapter
• You understand that all proceeds of the book will be donated to Variety, the Children's Charity
• You will promote the book, throughout the process, on your blog if you have one
• You'll embrace the cooperative, collaborative spirit that defined Age of Conversation
• You'll honor deadlines so Drew does not have to be a nag
• You'll honor word counts so Gavin doesn't have to be a nag

You also have input into the theme of this book, even if you do not choose to write a chapter.

• My Marketing Tragedy (and what I learned)

I do hope you decide to join, especially if you did not get a chance to contribute last year. I learned about so many blogs that are now in my reader through this process, but more importantly, we raised over $11,000 for Variety. I'm betting that from what we learned in '07 and with your contribution to the book, we can beat that mark in '08.
