A Whack on the Side of the Head: A Review Fit for a Fool
A Whack on the Side of the Head
How You Can Be More Creative
Revised and Updated (2008)
by Roger Von Oech
As is my custom, because I received this as a review copy and I'm recommending it, I will buy a copy of A Whack on the Side of the Head for the first person NOT named Roger von Oech who comments on this thread, as long as it can be shipped via Amazon.
This policy is in place so that you know that if I say a book is worth buying, I really mean it. - Cam Beck

Cam - so are you saying you didn't like the book? :)

Oh what fun! I love it. Especially all the dog-eared pages. Now, that's an endorsement sign! Thanks a bunch.
As the fool says: "Nothing succeeds like mediocrity because everybody understands it so well." So we must be in the right place.
Good luck.

Maybe this is what I need to read to get my campaign back on track. Thanks for the recommendation.

Courtney - On its way! Thank you for playing. :)
Roger - Next time you are asked how a fool endorses a book... ;)
Barack - My first reaction was to steer you away from this book, since I wouldn't want to assist you in your efforts to get anywhere near the presidency, but since the improvement you would gain transcends political interests, I wish you would buy it! :)

Cam,
I love the visual. Almost every book I care enough to buy looks exactly like that. I own both the original edition and his Whack Pack, and I adore them both.

Kelly - You know, the really neat thing that isn't reflected in the photo above is that I finished it in two short plane trips -- One to San Francisco and one back.
Plus, on the trip to San Francisco, I took a short nap. :)
