So can this be applied to each day individually?
Because I typically go for #'s 1 and 2, which often leads to late nights digging around exploring. But on the other end of the spectrum that usually leads to a night where have to recoup and get my 8hrs in order to function.

I would guess that a "perpetual youthful spirit" would require somewhat more than one good night's rest a week, but we'll see. :)

A wonderful post. Maybe during my 8-hour sleep tonight, I'll dream about forgiving my heart-felt, insatiable curiosity. (Oh, God, it is late :-)...off to begin that sleep!
